The architects were determined to make space for communal as well as private life in the building. Much attention has been given to creativity and individual expression in the design of all student rooms. The 7-storey building is intersected by five vertical cuts, dividing the the building into sections. These cuts act as passageways, providing access to the inner courtyard and to the seven floors of the students residence.
