White Meat City Galleries

Galleri Bo Bjerggaard Bo Bjerggaard's gallery has become a heavyweight in the Copenhagen art world. The gallery specializes in paintings, sculptures, and paper cuttings. Focusing on contemporary art, the gallery gives the public an opportunity to view major European artists such as Per Kirkeby, Georg Baselitz, Jannis Kounellis, Sigmar Polke, and Helmut Federle. The gallery also has an extensive collection of high level international photo and video art. Exhibition space has been increased considerably, enabling the gallery to put on two simultaneous exhibitions and also to display very large pieces. Galleri V1 Gallery V1, a new vibrant addition to the experimental art scene, has taken up permanent residence in another White Meat City slaughterhouse. As a leading presenter of new, original, and provocative art from Denmark and abroad, V1 has become a key player on the Copenhagen underground art scene. V1's aim is to provide an unpretentious setting for viewing art, so it may come as no surprise that the gallery is also notorious for its cool opening parties. Besides, V1 is next-door-neighbour to two of Copenhagen's hippest bars: Karriere and Jolene. Never expect a dull moment at V1!
